Marcus McEntire is the president of McEntire Advocacy & Consulting, LLC, a full-service legislative, marketing, and consulting firm dedicated to fostering strong relationships with legislators, state agency heads, and other elected officials. With 8 years of legislative experience and over 25 years of experience in both traditional and digital marketing, Marcus leverages his communication skills and extensive network to help clients achieve their goals through effective advocacy and public relations.
Marcus holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Virginia. Before founding McEntire Advocacy & Consulting, he served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 2016 to 2024 and served as the health appropriations and budget chairman from 2018-2024. During his tenure, he successfully drafted and ran over 130 pieces of legislation. Recognized as a “serious policymaker” and coalition builder, he is trusted among legislators and maintains strong, integrous relationships with key decision-makers. Marcus has a deep understanding of the legislative process, appropriations, the state budget, and strategies for positioning client requests to enhance the likelihood of funding. His policy work and advocacy have garnered recognition in various fields, including healthcare, alcohol modernization, pharmaceuticals, mental health, and insurance.
